For my first experiment in animation, I took inspiration from a sketch book I've been working on, which centres around a collection of objects I bought while working abroad. One of these was a papier machie box, painted with flower shapes. I cut out each petal and let them fall slowly from the page. I was quite pleased with how the animation looked when finished, but realized the importance of using a tripod to ensure the photographs are taken from the same angle throughout.
